Five Days in 1984 is a book that summarizes the event of what transpired at the Sri Harmandir Sahib in Amritsar, Punjab in June 1984. In this very important story, Bhaya Ji (Simran and Sehaj's grandfather) tells Simran and Sehaj about a sequence of events that led to one of the most impactful events in modern Sikh history.

At the end of the book, a more detailed breakdown is provided. In addition, you will find a glossary and reading comprehension questions.

The purpose of this book is to help identify an event that is rarely studied and is unknown to the world. We also hope that this book helps to create dialog so children and families can speak to one another and learn more about about the events of 1984.
